Product Description

The front edge of a tiled stair is particularly vulnerable to impact, chipping and wear. A properly designed stair edge profile helps protect this exposed area while providing a consistent architectural finish.

The Custom Aluminum Tile Step Edge Trim is designed to be installed along the front edge of tile steps, covering and protecting the exposed tile edge while creating a defined stair profile.

The aluminum construction provides a lightweight and durable solution for residential and commercial stair applications. Similar aluminum step edge products are marketed specifically for protecting ceramic tile, natural stone, laminate and wood stair edges.

Installation Method

1. Measure the stair tread and tile thickness.
2. Select a suitable aluminum step edge profile.
3. Apply tile adhesive to the stair surface.
4. Position the aluminum profile along the front stair edge.
5. Install the tile against the profile.
6. Check that the tile and profile are properly aligned.
7. Complete grouting after the installation has cured.
