Installation Method

1. Measure the width and depth of the stair edge.
2. Select a suitable brass stair nosing profile.
3. Cut the profile to the required length.
4. Position the nosing accurately over the stair edge.
5. Secure using suitable adhesive, mechanical fixings or the specified installation system.
6. Check that the profile is firmly fixed and properly aligned.
7. Ensure the tread surface provides a stable and continuous walking edge.

For screw-fixed versions, countersunk holes can be supplied according to the required fixing pattern.

Maintenance

Clean the brass surface with a soft cloth and a suitable mild cleaning solution.

Avoid abrasive pads and aggressive chemicals that may scratch or alter the surface finish.

Natural brass may develop a patina over time. If maintaining the original bright appearance is important, an appropriate brass-cleaning and maintenance system should be used.
